Job Objective :-
The primary responsibility shall be to draft Policy / Procedures / Guidelines aligned with Legal Boundaries & Laws.
To provide legal guidance and expertise related to cyber-security incidents, cyber-crime and post incident responses.
Education :-
Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) Or Integrated program (such as B.A.LL.B., B.B.A LLB., B.Sc ( LL.B.) from a NAAC Accredited Institute).
Experience:-
1. The incumbent shall be responsible to ensure that security operations and incident response activities comply with relevant laws, regulations and government policies.
2. The incumbent shall be responsible for the development, review, and implementation of policies, guidelines, and procedures related to incident response & cybersecurity operations and mitigate legal risks.
3. Provide legal inputs to ensure that these documents align with applicable laws and regulations, government directives, and national cybersecurity strategies.
4. The Legal Consultant shall be responsible to do legal analysis and advice on various matters related to cybersecurity incidents, including incident response plans, incident investigations, breach notification requirements, and potential legal liabilities.
5. The Legal Consultant shall have to monitor and analyze legislative developments, policy changes, and regulatory updates related to cybersecurity and incident response. They shall assess the impact of these changes on operations and provide recommendations for adapting policies and procedures to align with the evolving legal landscape.
6. The incumbent shall review and advise on contracts, agreements and MoUs (Memorandum of Understanding). This includes contracts with vendors, partners, and external organizations. They ensure that legal considerations, such as data protection, liability, and intellectual property rights, are adequately addressed in these agreements.
7. The Legal Consultant shall contribute to training programs and awareness initiatives aimed at enhancing the legal knowledge w.r.t. to IT Act / Aadhaar Act & other respective legal boundaries.
