Job Objective :-
Communication Consultant shall be responsible for developing and implementing communication plan & accordingly implement it during operations & security incidents so as to ensure effective & timely communication in-between the organization, Internal & External Stakeholders, Social / Press Media.
Education :-
Graduate in Public Relations/ Journalism/ Mass Communication.
Certification: Certified in Cyber Law/ Cyber Crime/ Cyber Security/ Forensics from a recognized institute.
Experience :-
Minimum 4 years of experience in managing coordination with internal & external stakeholder in the field of Information Technology.
Desirable Criteria: Communication experience in crisis management, incident management, public relationship & social media management.
Role & Responsibility :-
1. Develop comprehensive communication plans and protocols for routine operations & various cyber security incidents, outlining roles, responsibilities, communication channels and escalation matrix.
2. Based on the internal team inputs, craft clear and consistent messages to inform govt. departments and relevant parties
about regular operations and cyber security incidents, translating technical information into simple communications.
3. Coordinate with media outlets, regulatory bodies, and other relevant parties. Prepare and distribute press releases, manage media inquiries and maintain a consistent external messaging strategy.
4. Facilitate communication within the organization and between the other govt. departments so as to ensure the timely incident updates.
5. Assist in managing communication including sensitive information handling, public perception management, and reputational damage mitigation.
6. Develop recommendations for enhancing future incident response communication strategies
7. Act as a primary point of contact and facilitate communication between the organization and various state stakeholders, such as government agencies, law enforcement, critical infrastructure owners and operators, private sector organizations, and other organizations.
8. To organize and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and awareness programs for organization, government agencies and other respective stakeholders.
