Job Description
Job Objective :
As a Machine Learning Expert, the role will involve leveraging advanced machine learning techniques to extract valuable insights from complex datasets, with a particular emphasis on applications related to remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The incumbent will play a key role in developing and implementing machine learning models to provide innovative solutions in geospatial analytics domain.
Essential Qualification
Education:
BE / B. Tech ( Any ) OR Any Graduate with Master’s Degree inGeoinformatics / Meteorology/Environmental Science or equivalent subjects.
Experience:
Min 4 Years of experience in developing and deploying AI-ML models, with good analytical skills.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R.
- Familiarity with remote sensing platforms and GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).
- Knowledge of geospatial data formats (e.g.,GeoTIFF, shapefiles etc.) and spatial databases.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Core Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement machine learning algorithms and models for analyzing and interpreting geospatial data.
- Train, validate, and fine-tune machine learning models using both traditional and deep learning approaches.
- Clean, preprocess, and manipulate geospatial datasets to ensure data quality and compatibility with machine learning algorithms.
- Integrate machine learning workflows with geospatial data processing pipelines.
- Explore methods to enhance feature engineering and extraction from remote sensing data.
- Evaluate model performance and provide recommendations for model improvement.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data analytics team and GIS production team to integrate machine learning models into different operational activities
- Explore the archived GIS and other data to suggest trend and prediction using different AI-ML techniques
- Attend and support project manager in review meetings
