Job Description
Job Objective:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agricultural Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Agricultural Specialist will play a crucial role in providing inputs to all the Agriculture related projects and must have a valuable meteorological insights to optimize agricultural practices, mitigate risks, and productivity estimation based modern tools like satellite remote sensing, drone etc. As a Tech Lead-Agriculture, the incumbent will work closely with our Remote Sensing and GIS team to interpret weather data, ML model integrations and understand impact of natural disasters on crop yield and loss.
Required Criteria
Education:
BE / B. Tech ( Any )
OR
Any Graduate with Master’s Degree in Geo informatics / Meteorology/ Environmental Science or equivalent subjects.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years’ of overall experience with Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in GIS/ Remote .Sensing
Desired Skills:-
- Deep Understanding of Remote Sensing Applications in Agriculture applications
- Working Experience of AI-ML
- Working Knowledge of GEE
- Working Knowledge of Weather data analysis
- Experience in handling a team
- Familiarity with Project proposal writing, stakeholders interactions, and project review and presentation
Core Responsibilities:
- Efficient Project Planning, tracking project mile stones and ensuring on time project delivery within budget and scope.
- Coordinate with internal resources and other stakeholders, departments for the flawless execution of projects.
- Developing project scopes, objectives, project plans involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Establish and Manage the relationship with the departments and all stakeholder/vendors/Third parties
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Attend and represent as project owner in review meetings.
